Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled GCP Cloud Engineer with a focus on automotive technology to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly in Kubernetes, Terraform, Python, and BigQuery. With at least three years of experience in the automotive industry, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions tailored to our automotive technology projects.

Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

- Implement and maintain Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications, ensuring high availability and performance.

- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform for automating cloud resource provisioning and management.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance on cloud architecture and best practices.

- Utilize Python for scripting, automation, and integration of various cloud services and tools.

- Optimize BigQuery data pipelines and queries for efficient data processing and analytics in the automotive domain.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring system reliability and uptime.

- Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard cloud environments and sensitive automotive data.

- Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our automotive projects.

- Document architecture designs, configurations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Minimum of three years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.

- Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services, particularly Kubernetes, Terraform, and BigQuery.

- Solid programming skills in Python, with experience in scripting and automation.

- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.

- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) practices and tools, with a focus on Terraform.

- Experience with data engineering and analytics, preferably using BigQuery for processing and analyzing large datasets.

- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards, especially in handling sensitive automotive data.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Google Cloud certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Associate Cloud Engineer).

- Experience with other GCP services such as Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and AI/ML.

- Knowledge of software development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery and deployment.

- Experience working with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
