We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer who will lead a team of skilled engineers in maintaining and providing technical solutions. This role requires a strong technical background coupled with exceptional leadership and management abilities. The Senior Engineer will oversee the technical direction of projects, manage team members, and ensure successful execution of all engineering activities. This position will play a key role in driving innovation, fostering collaboration, and achieving business objectives.

What will you do :

Monitoring cloud assets like databases, virtual machines, firewalls and sources.

Ensure that the needs of employees in the cloud are taken care of in an efficient way.

Monitor our continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline and suggest improvements in existing CICD pipelines that are missing in it.

Troubleshoot and fix production outages and performance issues in our Cloud infrastructure stack

Proactively seek out opportunities to improve monitoring and alerting of our hosts and services, and implement them in a timely fashion

Maintain and execute our on-premise and cloud security policies

Strong research/analytical and problem solving skills and ability to gather, analyze and document information clearly and efficiently

Document and manage Run books for procedures, tasks, workflows and build that could potentially help the team and clients to interact with the Cloud Infrastructure.

Build & maintain SOP, tribe knowledge for necessary monitoring, automation activities wherever needed

You will also support our teams in technical activities. To be successful in this position, you must be a self-starter who learns quickly and asks questions but also possesses the confidence to work both efficiently and independently.

What we are looking for :

The ideal candidate should have 4 to 5 years of work experience.

The ideal candidate should have an interest in pursuing a career in technology and cloud Engineering and possess a blend of technical and analyst capabilities.

In this role, You will proactively help customers avoid potential issues and be responsible for providing clearly articulated solutions to achieve the greatest customer satisfaction.

The role will need your technical knowledge, documentation, implementation, and communication skills. You will ensure high quality and on time delivery, working with cross functional teams to deliver deliverables and independently handle project work with limited supervision.

Willingness to support 24/7. Flexible to accommodate urgent customer needs over weekends and public holidays.

Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP OR Multicloud.

Work on the basis that screen sharing calls with the customer are the best way to resolve customer issues rather than email

Support all aspects of Cloud operations on a day-to-day basis and monitoring continuous availability, durability, scale and up-time of multi-cloud platform

Analyze events, perform troubleshooting and incident response, communicate with internal stakeholders and track events & problems through to resolution.

In-depth Networking, Linux/Unix knowledge

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Highly team oriented & practices collaboration as a key to success

Strong attention to details and able to handle concurrently multiple tasks.

Typically requires demonstrable related experience with a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree.

Good to have certification on any cloud platform

AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Linux, Networking, Monitoring tools, ITIL, Service management.

RequirementsWhat we are looking for: 7 + years of hands-on experience as a DevOps & Cloud A person who has experience in assisting/helping to architect, design and develop Cloud & DevOps practices on one or more cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) Must be an expert in implementing CI & CD pipeline with various DevOps tool sets. Should be able to evaluate, implement, and streamline the DevOps practices for the clients thereby speeding up the software development and deployment process Hands-on experience with CI & CD tools(like Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory/ Nexus), Source Control (like Git- Bit bucket, Github, Git lab/SVN etc.) Experience in creating continuous delivery practices by using Terraform/ARM Templates/Cloud Formation. Must possess excellent knowledge of infrastructure configuration & automation tools (like Ansible) in both development and production environments Should possess the experience in designing & building applications using container & serverless technologies. Kubernetes expertise is a must have and knowledge on Service Mesh, Tracing, Helm Charts etc would be an added advantage. Must have strong expertise in operating Linux environments and scripting languages like Shell. Good presentation and communications skills. Be willing to be challenged and learn new skills.
