Job Title : Total Reward lead – ASEAN (Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand)
Location : Anywhere in India
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Total reward professional to join our team. This role will oversee payroll management, total rewards administration, employee relations, and compliance processes across multiple Asian countries, including Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in HR operations and demonstrate the ability to drive strategic initiatives in a multicultural environment.

Areas of Responsibility:
1. Country’s Payroll:
• Ensuring timely and accurate processing of compliance reporting process for ASEAN countries for payroll.
• Work with various internal stakeholders, including outsourced payroll vendor(s) for ASEAN countries to support related payroll inquiries and resolve any error or issues in a timely manner
• Maintain all Payroll statutory compliance for ASEAN countries in an efficient, accurate & timely manner • Ensuring compliance by following payroll policies and procedures set in ASEAN countries.
• Developing ad-hoc payroll financial and operational reporting as required for ASEAN countries.
• Participating in and/or leading intervention projects focused on continuous improvement for payroll administration across ASEAN Countries
2. Country’s Total Reward -
• Provide advice to the business on salary and compensation in line with statutory requirements as well as the Company's philosophy and guidelines across ASEAN Countries in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
• Provide support for compensation and rewards strategies approach that attract and retain talent across ASEAN Countries. • Involved in leading Annual Rationalization cycle in the annual increment cycle for salary reviews based on market and sector specific benchmarking to ensure competitiveness.
• To support and lead related Long-term or Short-term Variable related benefit and Incentive communication or negotiation discussion from Total Reward across ASEAN Countries to respective associates.
• Provide support for employee benefits and insurance programs across ASEAN Countries with internal stakeholders.
• Provide support in overseeing and periodically reviewing the administration of benefits for ASEAN countries. • Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement for Total Reward across ASEAN Countries.
3. Country’s Employee Relations for Total Reward-
• Provide support to HR Managers in facilitating employee relations and resolving any human resource issues relating to Total Reward as required with the aim of building a positive and engaged work environment across ASEAN Countries in Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.
• Partnering with both senior business stakeholders, solicitor advisory and local labour Relations office and local HR teams to develop and implement Employee Relations best practices and programs for Total Reward across ASEAN Countries.
• Partnering in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement to Employee Relations program, applicable employment legislation & statutory requirements, compliance & data privacy laws (GDPR etc.) for Total Reward across ASEAN countries. • To ensure that all set processes and procedures in the related Employment or IR are adhered to on a company-wide level. Minimizing risks to the business/country from a dispute resolution standpoint by ensuring that correct and consistent processes are always maintained for Total Reward across ASEAN countries.
• Ensure that associates’ complaints, managing grievance procedures for Total Reward across ASEAN countries, and facilitating counselling in conjunction with other stakeholders are maintained, recorded and closed on time. Investigating and resolving complex or critical industrial relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
4. Country’s Compliance Rigor for Total Reward -
• Responsible for assisting with risk and compliance reviews in coordination to independently review, analyse and conduct effective due diligence and necessary investigations for Total Reward across ASEAN Countries.
• Provide support to enable compliance with all required New or Revised statutes/regulations pertaining to the compliance responsibility area and compliance period given above for Total Reward across ASEAN Countries.
