You’ll lead, grow, and mentor a cross-functional team of front-end, back-end, and full-stack engineers. You’ll be hands-on in the codebase while setting the technical vision, making key architecture and infrastructure decisions, and ensuring every release is reliable, scalable, and production-ready. You’ll bring rigor to our sprints, accountability to our delivery, and clarity to our technical standards.If you live for building and scaling engineering teams, thrive on solving complex technical challenges, and dream of shaping the technology behind the world’s most exciting fashion AI company, this role is for you.General Leadership & Engineering ResponsibilitiesLead, scale, and manage a cross-functional team of front-end, back-end, and full-stack engineers.Define and enforce technical standards, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.Be hands-on: actively code, review PRs, and solve complex technical challenges.Make strategic tech stack decisions (frameworks, infra, cloud, AI integrations).Run the team with Scrum methodology: break down tasks into clear deliverables, drive sprints, and enforce accountability.Enforce high standards of testing and continuous integration (unit, integration, and E2 E tests) so every release is reliable.Recruit and manage talent: hire, mentor, and fire when needed to keep the bar high.Assess and monitor team performance with clear metrics, accountability, and feedback loops.Review code hands-on and mentor engineers to improve technical quality and speed.Value good over perfect: ship fast, iterate, and continuously improve.Prioritize speed and pragmatism: leverage commercial tools and proven solutions rather than reinventing the wheel.Instill a culture of AI-powered productivity: automate, use AI assistants, and integrate AI tools at every step.Act as the performance gatekeeper: measure, assess, and raise the bar for your team continuously.Collaborate with the CTO, Product, and AI research team to align technical execution with business goals.Modelia-Specific ResponsibilitiesLead development across Web, Studio, and Shopify applications, ensuring designs from the Design Team are translated into production-quality code using Typescript, Tailwind CSS, React, Node.js, Express.js, VIKE SSR and Playwright.Own full-stack delivery: front-end and back-end, from implementing features to testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) and deploying to production.Maintain and evolve our Shopify application, ensuring seamless integrations, top performance, and long-term maintainability.Implement SEO technical tasks on the website to maximize visibility and growth.Manage translations across our Web platform, Studio, and Shopify apps for global users.Design, implement, and secure authentication flows (user login/authorization, API key generation, internal customer portals).Oversee internal portals: develop and maintain customer-facing dashboards and tools.Integrate APIs from the IT team and build proxy servers in Type Script so front-end code communicates efficiently with Fast API services and other back-end endpoints.Optimize website performance: design data flows (polling, webhooks, pub/sub) that keep interactions smooth and scalable. Our website needs to FLY.Enforce state management best practices, ensuring clarity, predictability, and maintainability in complex interfaces.Your Required Qualifications8+ years of engineering experience, including senior-level hands-on coding.Proven leadership in scaling engineering teams (preferably Saa S/AI/consumer tech).Strong expertise in Strong expertise in Typescript, Tailwind CSS, React, Node.js, Express.js, VIKE SSR and Playwright.Track record of shipping complex products fast without sacrificing reliability.Experience managing Scrum teams and enforcing sprint discipline.Passion for AI and automation, with real examples of using AI in development workflows.Relentless about quality, delivery, and accountability, while knowing when to ship “good enough” to learn faster.Ability to make tough calls on tech and people decisions.Fluent in EnglishEager to join a team that’s growing at full speed and will demand the very best of you.Nice to Have • Experience in e Commerce, fashion tech, or creative tools. • Background in AI model integration, inference pipelines, or GPU infraWhat We Offer????
