Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role located in Puducherry for an Academic Counsellor at Boston Institute of Analytics, Pondicherry. The Academic Counsellor will be responsible forIdentify and understand the needs of new students and provide counselling & effectively communicate the benefits of our coursesLead the sales process, establish contact, call and meet prospective studentsBe the first point of contact for all sales-related queries and communicationExplain course details to students/parentsProvide guidance to students and parents on career decisionsGive presentation to prospective clients in education sector like colleges and universitiesRepresent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrationsPrepare and maintain a master database of all prospects and their contactsResponsible for day-to-day activities of centre, coordinating lectures between trainers and students
Compensation:
2.4 Lakhs - 3.6 Lakhs per annum + Performance Bonus / IncentivesNote:

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Any streamPrevious experience in academic counselling and SalesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsEmpathy and understanding towards students' needs and concernsKnowledge of educational and career pathwaysAbility to work collaboratively in a teamExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsProficiency in using counselling and career resourcesFamiliarity with academic technologies, policies and proceduresExperience working with diverse student populationsCharismatic, competitive and enthusiastic personality with negotiation skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer-facing skillsExpertise in Microsoft Office
