Stores Manager

Job Description We are looking for an experienced Stores Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the store operations in our Perambalur location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory control, supply chain coordination, vendor management, and team supervision within the FMCG, Retail, or Food industry. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations of the store department Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records Monitor inbound and outbound materials, ensuring proper documentation Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams for smooth operations Ensure compliance with company policies and standards in storage and dispatch Manage and train store staff to maintain efficiency and accuracy Conduct regular audits and reports for stock, wastage, and discrepancies Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security standards are met in the store area Liaise with vendors and transporters to ensure timely delivery and dispatch Requirements Minimum 7 years of experience in Stores Management in FMCG, Retail, or Food Industry Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and stock management techniques Proven leadership and team management skills Proficiency in using MS Excel and inventory management software Good communication and organizational skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Benefits Competitive salary package Opportunity to work with a reputed and growing brand Performance-based incentives Provident Fund (PF) & ESI (as applicable) Paid leaves and holidays Career growth opportunities within the organization Supportive work environment Staff discounts on products
