Data Platform Engineer – B2 B Intelligence Systems (Life Sciences) Location: Remote | Type: Full-Time   About Bio Sales Bio Sales partners with contract research organizations (CROs) and life sciences companies to provide comprehensive sales and go-to-market services. We lead the entire sales process from prospecting new clients and closing deals to account management and maintaining customer relationships. Our goal is to deliver superior sales solutions that drive growth and success for our partners in the life sciences industry.   The Role We’re hiring a Data Platform Engineer to architect and build a B2 B intelligence platform from the ground up.   You’ll define the technical direction, select the right tools, and lead development of a scalable data ecosystem that powers our prospecting, enrichment, and analytics systems.   What You’ll Do Design and build end-to-end data pipelines for collection, enrichment, and delivery of multi-source data Develop scalable scraping and ingestion systems to collect data from structured and unstructured sources Implement data modeling, entity resolution, and deduplication to ensure accuracy and quality Design database and storage architecture for high-volume, query-optimized data Build APIs and internal tools to serve data to analytics and sales teams Deploy, monitor, and scale infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP Define best practices for data governance, security, and compliance   What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience in data engineering, platform architecture, or related roles Proven success building or scaling data aggregation or intelligence systems Strong experience with Python, SQL , and modern data orchestration frameworks Expertise designing data models, APIs, and distributed systems Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern Dev Ops workflows Strategic mindset with the ability to balance architecture and hands-on execution Excellent communication skills and ability to lead technical direction in a small, fast-moving team   Bonus Experience applying machine learning or NLP for data enrichment or classification Background in life sciences, healthcare data, or B2 B Saa S Familiarity with compliance and data privacy (GDPR, CCPA)     Why Join Us This is a ground-floor opportunity to lead the development of a greenfield data intelligence platform.
