Data Platform Engineer – B2B Intelligence Systems (Life Sciences)Location: Remote | Type: Full-Time About BioSalesBioSales partners with contract research organizations (CROs) and life sciences companies to provide comprehensive sales and go-to-market services. We lead the entire sales process from prospecting new clients and closing deals to account management and maintaining customer relationships. Our goal is to deliver superior sales solutions that drive growth and success for our partners in the life sciences industry. The RoleWe’re hiring a Data Platform Engineer to architect and build a B2B intelligence platform from the ground up. You’ll define the technical direction, select the right tools, and lead development of a scalable data ecosystem that powers our prospecting, enrichment, and analytics systems. What You’ll DoDesign and build end-to-end data pipelines for collection, enrichment, and delivery of multi-source dataDevelop scalable scraping and ingestion systems to collect data from structured and unstructured sourcesImplement data modeling, entity resolution, and deduplication to ensure accuracy and qualityDesign database and storage architecture for high-volume, query-optimized dataBuild APIs and internal tools to serve data to analytics and sales teamsDeploy, monitor, and scale infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCPDefine best practices for data governance, security, and compliance What We’re Looking For5+ years of experience in data engineering, platform architecture, or related rolesProven success building or scaling data aggregation or intelligence systemsStrong experience with Python, SQL, and modern data orchestration frameworksExpertise designing data models, APIs, and distributed systemsFamiliarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern DevOps workflowsStrategic mindset with the ability to balance architecture and hands-on executionExcellent communication skills and ability to lead technical direction in a small, fast-moving team BonusExperience applying machine learning or NLP for data enrichment or classificationBackground in life sciences, healthcare data, or B2B SaaSFamiliarity with compliance and data privacy (GDPR, CCPA)  Why Join UsThis is a ground-floor opportunity to lead the development of a greenfield data intelligence platform.
