Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Oracle Xstore POS Developer to join our retail technology team. This role demands deep expertise in Oracle Xstore development, enterprise system integrations, and cloud-native deployment strategies—preferably on AWS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, customizing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing POS solutions across distributed store environments. Key Responsibilities:Oracle Xstore Development & CustomizationDesign, develop, and implement custom features and enhancements in Oracle Xstore POS (Java-based)Configure store-level and enterprise-level Xstore components including mobile POS and peripheralsMaintain and optimize Xstore configurations for performance, scalability, and reliabilityEnterprise IntegrationsBuild and maintain robust integrations with upstream/downstream systems such as ERP (e.g., Oracle Retail), CRM, Loyalty, Inventory, and Payment GatewaysDevelop RESTful APIs and middleware services for real-time data exchangeEnsure secure and compliant data flows across systems using industry best practicesCloud Deployment & InfrastructureLead cloud migration and deployment of Xstore applications on AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCPDesign and implement infrastructure-as-code (Ia C) using tools like Terraform or AWS Cloud FormationManage containerized deployments using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or ECSDev Ops & CI/CDImplement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or AWS Code PipelineAutomate build, test, and deployment workflows for Xstore componentsMonitor and log application performance using tools like Cloud Watch, ELK Stack, or DatadogBehavior & Maintenance Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and infrastructure issues in cloud-hosted environmentsApply patches, upgrades, and hotfixes to Xstore applications across environmentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders Required Skills & Qualifications:5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Xstore POS developmentStrong Java development skills with experience in retail POS systemsProven experience integrating Xstore with enterprise systems using APIs, MQs, or ETL toolsCloud experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP—deployment, monitoring, and scalingFamiliarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS)Experience with CI/CD tools and Dev Ops practicesKnowledge of retail store operations and compliance requirementsExcellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have):Oracle Retail Xstore CertificationAWS Certified Developer or Solutions ArchitectCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)Dev Ops or CI/CD tool certifications
