Position Overview:
The Centralised Placement Manager for the CSR Skills Training Projects of Nirmaan at various locations  will be responsible for managing and overseeing the placement process of trainees who have completed skill development programs under the corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. This role will work closely with training partners, employers, and local communities to ensure successful placement of candidates into sustainable job opportunities. The role involves coordinating the centralized placement efforts, tracking progress, managing relationships, and ensuring that the objectives of the CSR Skills Training Project are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Placement Coordination & Strategy:
Develop and implement placement strategies for training graduates in alignment with the CSR Skills Training Project goals.
Oversee the centralised placement process, including managing databases, tracking placement outcomes, and ensuring timely follow-up with employers and the ongoing Nirmaan Skill Training Centers.
Work with training providers to assess the readiness of candidates of the Skills Centers for placement, ensuring they meet industry standards.
Collaborate with various industries and employers to identify suitable job opportunities for trainees.
Employer & Partner Relations:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry partners, and recruitment agencies to create a network of placement opportunities.
Conduct outreach to potential employers to secure placements, ensuring alignment with the skills and qualifications of the trainees.
Organize job fairs, placement drives, and employer networking events to increase placement opportunities.
Placement Support & Monitoring:
Provide continuous support to trainees during the placement process, offering guidance and counselling to ensure job readiness.
Track placement outcomes, ensuring placements are appropriate and sustainable for the trainees.
Monitor and report on the success rate of placements and take corrective actions where necessary to improve placement rates.
Data Management & Reporting:
Maintain a comprehensive database of trainees and placements, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Generate regular reports for senior management on placement progress, challenges, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize placement processes.
Training & Development:
Collaborate with training teams to ensure that programs are aligned with market needs and job opportunities.
Organize workshops or training sessions focused on job readiness, resume building, interview skills, and workplace etiquette for candidates.
Feedback & Continuous Improvement:
Collect feedback from employers, trainees, and training partners to evaluate the quality of placements and improve future placement processes.
Develop strategies to overcome challenges related to placement, such as skill gaps or industry mismatches.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field. Certifications in placement management or career counseling are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 12-15 years of experience in placement, recruitment, or workforce development, preferably within a CSR or skills training context.
Proven track record in managing placement processes or working with skill development projects.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of the skills development ecosystem and employment trends in various industries.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with employers and stakeholders.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Knowledge of job market trends and industry-specific hiring needs.
Data-driven, with the ability to analyze placement statistics and use insights to improve processes.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with HR management software or placement management tools.

Full-time, office-based position with occasional travel to placement locations, training centers, and employer sites.
Ability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment, with a focus on meeting key performance targets.
