Candidates will work across both technical and functional streams to ensureseamless deployment, integration, and architecture of Oracle FLEXCUBE and its modules, includingRetail Banking, Universal Banking Base (UBS), Trade Finance, Corporate Lending, and Payments.The role spans end-to-end activities from requirement gathering and process design to post-go-livesupport, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and an enhanced user experience.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical ResponsibilitiesAs an Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking consultant, the candidate will provide expert guidance andstrategic oversight on the configuration, customization, and architecture of FLEXCUBE modules,ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and long-term technologystrategy. They will assess the current-state architecture, identify gaps, and define the future-statearchitecture to optimize processes, integrations, and overall system performance. The consultantwill lead the design and management of integrations with internal and external systems using APIs,web services, and middleware, while monitoring and optimizing system performance to ensure highavailability, scalability, and reliability. The role includes overseeing version upgrades, patches, andmodule migrations, collaborating closely with DBAs, infrastructure, and cloud teams to definerobust environments, deployment strategies, and security standards. Additionally, the SME willassist in data migration, mapping legacy data to FLEXCUBE structures, and validating accuracy. Theywill support project planning, coordination, and technical delivery reporting, manage testinginfrastructure including automated testing and defect tracking, and implement automation andoptimized workflows to enhance operational efficiency.Finally, they will ensure that the system adheres to compliance, audit, and regulatoryrequirements, maintaining proper documentation of configurations and system logs, , lead post-go-live support, incident management, root cause analysis, and the implementation of automation,batch processing, and advanced reporting workflows to enhance operational efficiency while actingas a trusted advisor to business and IT teams on best practices, continuous improvement, andinnovative solutions.Functional ResponsibilitiesAs an Oracle FLEXCUBE consultant, the candidate will work closely with business stakeholders togather, analyze, and document detailed requirements across banking domains, including retail,deposits, loans, payments, treasury, and corporate banking. They will assess the current-state (As-Is)processes, identify gaps, and define the future-state (To-Be) processes to optimize workflows andensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. The consultant willcollaborate with business users to define product features, user journeys, and workflows, andprovide functional guidance on integrations with digital channels, payment networks, and third-party systems. They will develop and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User AcceptanceTesting (UAT) scripts, provide training, user manuals, and documentation, and support changemanagement activities to ensure smooth adoption of new processes.Additionally, the consultant will advise on functional technology strategy, helping to align processdesign and system capabilities with broader enterprise technology objectives , support projectplanning, milestone tracking, and stakeholder reporting, provide business reporting and KPIdashboards to monitor process efficiency, and maintain audit-ready documentation for regulatoryand internal compliance. Acting as a trusted advisor, they will guide business teams on bestpractices, continuous improvement, and innovative solutions to maximize the value of the FLEXCUBEplatform.Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or relatedfields. 10–15 years of experience in financial services, with 7–10 years with Oracle FLEXCUBE. Certifications: Oracle FLEXCUBE modules (Reatil Banking, UBS, Trade, Payments) preferred. Technical expertise: Oracle PL/SQL, Java, SQL, middleware, APIs, web services, jobscheduling, system integration, performance tuning, automation, and workflowoptimization. Strong functional expertise across retail, deposits, loans, payments, trade finance, andtreasury, translating business needs into effective system processes. Proven experience in end-to-end core banking architecture design and optimization, withthe ability to drive technology strategy.. Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, applying the right approach for projectsuccess. Skilled in analysis, problem-solving, and stakeholder management, enabling practicalsolutions and effective collaboration.Preferred / Nice to Have Oracle FLEXCUBE module-specific certifications. Exposure to cloud deployment (AWS, Azure) or Dev Ops/CI-CD pipelines. Experience with digital banking channels, fintech integrations, and process automation. Knowledge of global banking regulations (AML, KYC, Basel, IFRS).
