About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Cloud Platforms (AWS & Azure), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), automation, and large-scale distributed systems.

In this role, you will own the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise-level cloud infrastructure systems, ensure adoption of best practices, and provide mentorship and leadership to cross-functional teams. You will play a critical role in shaping and executing our long-term cloud strategy, ensuring security, scalability, and performance across high-volume platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Delivery & Ownership

• Lead the delivery of enterprise foundation systems supporting multiple teams and organizations.

• Contribute to the development of innovative cloud solutioning principles and concepts.

• Apply SDLC best practices to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.

• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS and Azure.

• Drive automation using HashiCorp Terraform (IaC) to build scalable and secure systems.

• Ensure compliance with cloud security frameworks, governance, and monitoring practices.

• Operate and support high-volume, distributed retail platforms with hands-on operational responsibility.

• Collaborate with product and application teams to design and implement cloud solutions aligned with business needs.

Enrollment, Influence & Adoption:

• Act as a senior engineering resource in cross-functional teams solving complex infrastructure challenges.

• Advocate for cloud adoption and automation best practices across the organization.

• Mentor and coach team members on secure coding, cloud operations, and infrastructure scalability.

• Communicate technical strategies and architecture decisions effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Influence key decisions impacting the organization's long-term cloud and IT strategy.

• Provide thought leadership to drive innovation, performance, and sustainability in cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7–9 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.

• Deep expertise in AWS and Azure Cloud Infrastructure.

• Advanced proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.

• Strong experience with CI/CD platforms (GitLab preferred) and supporting DevOps ecosystems.

• Proficiency in Python and Go, with experience coding against REST APIs and JSON.

• Hands-on knowledge of serverless architectures, containers, microservices, and scheduling platforms.

• Strong understanding of security principles in cloud and distributed environments.

• Proven experience in building or operating large-scale cloud services.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to challenge assumptions and innovate in complex environments.
