JOB SUMMARY
The Dark Store Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the dark store facility, ensuring efficient and effective operations from inventory management to last-mile delivery coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong background
in retail or warehouse management, with a passion for technology and excellence in
fast-paced environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Management: - Oversee all daily operations of the dark store including
inventory receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch - Ensure optimal store
performance with focus on speed, accuracy, and quality - Coordinate with mother
warehouse for inventory replenishment and stock management - Implement and
maintain standard operating procedures for all processes
Team Leadership & Management: - Recruit, train, and manage a team of dark store helpers and support staff - Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations - Foster a positive, productive, and safety-conscious
work environment - Develop team capabilities through training and skill development programs
Inventory & Quality Control: - Implement robust inventory management systems to
ensure optimal stock levels - Conduct regular stock audits and maintain inventory accuracy above 98% - Minimize waste and maintain product quality standards -Manage perishable and non-perishable inventory with appropriate storage conditions

Performance & Analytics: - Monitor key performance indicators including order
fulfillment time, delivery accuracy, and customer satisfaction - Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities - Implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs - Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management

Technology & Systems: - Utilize company technology platforms for order
management, inventory tracking, and operations optimization - Provide feedback to
technology teams for system improvements - Ensure all team members are proficient
in using operational systems and tools
Compliance & Safety: - Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory
requirements - Maintain clean, organized, and safe working environment - Implement
and monitor safety protocols and emergency procedures

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Experience: - 3-5 years of experience in retail management, warehouse management, or similar role in e-commerce/logistics industry - Experience in quick commerce or dark store environment is highly preferred - Proven track record of managing teams and achieving operational targets Education: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field - Additional certifications in warehouse management or logistics are advantageous Skills & Competencies: - Strong leadership and team management capabilities - Excellent organizational and time-management abilities - Proficient in inventory management software and systems - Data-driven approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environment - Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements

Job Type: Full-time
