This includes six remote communities: Amoonguna, Ntaria, Santa Teresa, Utju, Yulara and Mutitjulu. What’s in it for you?   Tailored Compensation of $243,841 – $295,557, contingent on location Enjoy six (6) weeks of annual leave Embrace generous salary packaging, district allowance, and remote perks Commit to continuous development with Congress’ strong support Access Congress health services for yourself and family, free of charge Furnished accommodation provided with use of clinic vehicles in some locations Relocation assistance available where applicable District allowance and remote benefits Participate in the Workforce Incentive Program – Doctor Stream (WIP) for added annual Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) payments ranging from $25K to $60K in MM6-7 rural and remote locations  What’s the role?  Step into a role where you’ll provide culturally sensitive GP services within a comprehensive primary healthcare framework, focusing on Remote Communities. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, your impact will be instrumental in upholding clinical leadership, cultural authenticity, and elevated standards of care. What do you need to apply?   Hold specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) Be a Fellow of the RACGP or ACRRM, or possess at least five years of GP experience Demonstrate awareness of and sensitivity to Aboriginal culture, history, and ongoing issues Additional qualifications like DipRANZCOG, FARGP, or MPH are highly valued Experience or accreditation as a supervisor of GP registrars is advantageous Have the capacity and suitable health and fitness levels for travel and work in remote locations  If you’re enthusiastic about fostering change within Aboriginal communities and are dedicated to offering culturally sensitive and comprehensive healthcare, seize these fulfilling opportunities with Central Australian Aboriginal Congress. NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer support and financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education. Want to find out more about this opportunity?
