Our group is composed of professionals from top strategy consulting firms and other investment banks. Projects involve developing and executing high-value strategic growth initiatives for the business, as well identifying and highlighting actionable business insights. As a part of the Strategy group, the associate would drive end-to-end execution of these data-driven growth strategy projects - using advanced analytics to identify actionable insights. The role would also involve significant engagement and communication with senior leaders across the Commercial Bank.

Job Summary :

As a Data Strategy - Associate within our Commercial Banking Strategy team, you will be tasked with defining, refining, and achieving set objectives for our firm daily. The newly formed Business Intelligence team is mandated to utilize data-promoten and advanced analytical methods to identify, prioritize, and expedite high-value revenue growth opportunities for the Commercial Banking business. You will employ both existing and new data sets, including proprietary data from JPMorgan Chase & Co. and third-party market research, to pinpoint the most profitable opportunities for adding new clients and deepening existing relationships. Your role will also involve developing actionable business insights and assisting business intelligence leads in articulating the most optimal growth opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

Support a portfolio of strategic business intelligence engagements, leading to actionable insights Execute on market research, data aggregation and analytical approaches to drive toward industry-leading asset Help solve complex problems Aid in crafting clear and compelling narratives, leveraging creative data visualization, to enable opportunity prioritization, idea convergence, insight operationalization and stakeholder buy-in  Aid identification and validation new business growth ideas by leveraging existing and new data sets

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Minimum of 6 years' experience in Strategy, Data Analytics; Fluency with large data sets, advanced analytical tools and problem-solving approaches Knowledge of any of the following software packages: Python, R or SQL and familiarity with relational database concepts, background in statistics and machine learning and a passion for learning Expertise with tools like Alteryx, Tableau and Qliksense Demonstrated capability to draw actionable insights to support business growth objectives from a variety of data and research assets

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Financial services experience preferred CA / MBA/ from top tier school; additional qualification in data/business analytics preferred Strong presentation, communication & collaboration skills along with Quantitative background  Consulting experience preferred
