Role Overview

The Co-Founder will play a crucial role in shaping Travokarma's strategic direction, focusing on scaling the supply side, forging strategic partnerships, exploring new revenue avenues, managing operations and participating in investment pitches. This role is for someone who thrives in a startup environment, capable of utilizing minimal resources for maximum impact and driving the company towards its strategic goals through effective leadership and innovative strategies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Side Expansion & Management: Actively expand and manage the supply of various services, enhancing the diversity and competitiveness of our offerings.
  • Business Partnerships & Development: Establish and negotiate strategic partnerships to foster business growth and broaden market presence.
  • Revenue Generation: Innovate and execute new revenue strategies to ensure financial sustainability and growth.
  • Regional Ownership & Operations: Take full ownership of operational and strategic success in designated regions, optimizing resources and aligning efforts with company objectives.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work in tandem with strategic partners and team members to unify efforts towards the company's success.
  • Cross-Functional Work: Demonstrate versatility in undertaking cross-functional roles as needed, contributing to various operational, strategic, and technical areas to propel the company forward.
  • Investor Engagement: Actively participate in identifying and connecting with the right investors, facilitating discussions and engagements to secure funding and support for strategic initiatives and global expansion.
  • Technology & Business Insight : Apply a robust understanding of technology and various business models to innovate, optimize operations, and maintain a competitive edge.


Qualifications

* A strong entrepreneurial background with a track record of success, preferably within the travel, hospitality, or tech industries.

* Demonstrated ability to engage with and connect to investors, with a knack for negotiation and forming impactful partnerships.

* Creative and strategic thinking, with a clear vision for global expansion and the ability to execute plans to reach a wide audience.

* Solid understanding of technology and familiarity with various business models, especially those relevant to the travel and tech sectors.

* Exceptional leadership and versatility, capable of managing cross-functional tasks and driving results in a startup environment.

* A deep passion for the travel industry and a commitment to driving innovation and growth.


Compensation

  • Compensation at this stage will primarily be in the form of equity and Employee Stock Option Plans (ESOPs), designed to reflect the level of commitment and contribution to Travokarma's growth. Specific details will be negotiated with successful candidates.
