Company Description

As part of KayOne's CFO team , the team lead will play a pivotal role in strengthening the finance backbone for high-growth companies. The role goes beyond accounting - it combines financial reporting, financial management, and investor deliverables with hands-on involvement in building scalable systems and supporting strategic decisions.

You will work closely with founders, investors, and auditors to ensure books are closed on time, MIS and analysis are reliable, and the company is always investor- and audit-ready. The role demands a Chartered Accountant with 3-4 years of experience who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and eager to grow into a strategic finance leader within KayOne's CFO practice.

Job Description

  • Oversee monthly and annual book closure and ensure accuracy of accounts.
  • Develop and maintain MIS reports and dashboards (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Budget vs Actual).
  • Drive financial planning, variance analysis, and performance reviews.
  • Establish systems, processes, and SOPs for finance and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, investor, and audit requirements.
  • Manage and track Cap Table and investor obligations.
  • Support fundraising, due diligence, and investor reporting.
  • Lead audit readiness and compliance tracking across functions.

Qualifications

  • CA with 3-4 years of relevant experience in finance, and MIS.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Exposure to audit, investor reporting, fundraising support, or due diligence is an advantage.
  • Ability to design processes, track compliance, and work with cross-functional teams.
