The product manager for the SRE team will work in partnership with the SRE Engineering leads to:
Understand Observability needs, opportunities and requirements from the wider Engineering organization Map our product offering to understand suitability of tooling vs client needs Understand competing and complementary products to Observability tooling Understand Engineering landscape and look for areas of opportunities. Translate these needs/opportunities and requirements into a product vision and underlying feature-sets Facilitate product review meetings and end user forums. Work with our stakeholders to understand relative priorities. Negotiate with stakeholders/engineers when desired dates and priorities do not align Be able to explain what underpins decision-making process across different stakeholder groups Define product strategy and vision, and create/maintain the product roadmap(s), which includes - Product rollout to new Engineering areas (core product offering) New feature rollout calendar Migration and demise plan for client teams still utilizing the old tooling Create product marketing communications objectives and manage ongoing communications as we execute on the roadmapABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS At Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
