Senior Associate, Team Lead, Credit Approval, Risk Management Group -(WD79036)Adopt a dynamic risk management approach to pro-actively monitor the collateral valuation trends for various types of properties in different locations where DBS has taken / proposes to take properties as security. Keep track of concentrations in type of collateral security or geography and highlight in case of any adverse changes in property rates in that area for corrective action Scrutinise valuation reports on a sample basis and check for appropriateness of valuation being provided by empanelled valuers. Manage day to day valuation related issues and provide technical support for decision on exceptions / deviations pointed out by empanelled valuer by factoring in nuances and working with key stakeholders to ensure robust risk management of the collateral valuation related issues. Review profile of valuers and provide necessary recommendations for empanelment Provide credit support to CRM with requisite clarifications with respect to deviations / observations on Collateral valuation report, whenever required. Comply with regulatory, audit and statutory requirements and assist in inspections and audit (external and internal) inputs in all credit areas pertaining to collateral title and valuation Approve valuation deviations / exceptions in line with collateral policy, when approval authority is delegated The candidate should have relevant experience in banks / financial institutions, preferably in SME / mortgage credit, with exposure in collateral valuation policy and processes. Additionally, the candidate should have good inter-personal and communication skills (written / oral).
