Job Title: Google Merchant Center (GMC) Specialist – Ecommerce

Location: Remote
Experience: 3–5 years in product feed management & ecommerce advertising
Timing: 7:30 pm to 4:30 am(Night shift)

About the Role

We are looking for a Google Merchant Center Specialist to manage and optimize our product data feeds, ensuring smooth integrations between ecommerce platforms (Shopify) and Google Merchant Center. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly analytical, and experienced in feed optimization, product listing accuracy, and compliance with Google policies to drive strong performance in Google Shopping and Performance Max campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Google Merchant Center accounts for ecommerce stores.
  • Create, optimize, and troubleshoot product feeds for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Google Shopping requirements.
  • Monitor and resolve product disapprovals, errors, and policy violations to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure product data consistency across platforms (Google Merchant Center, Shopify, Magento, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the Google Ads team to align product feeds with active campaigns.
  • Optimize product titles, descriptions, categories, and attributes to improve visibility, CTR, and conversions.
  • Implement custom labels, promotions, and pricing strategies to enhance campaign targeting.
  • Track performance metrics (impressions, clicks, conversions, ROAS) and provide actionable insights.
  • Coordinate with design/content teams to ensure product images and details meet Google's standards.
  • Stay up to date with Google Shopping updates, feed specifications, and ecommerce best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience working with Google Merchant Center & product feeds.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Shopping Ads, Performance Max, and ecommerce platforms (Shopify).
  • Familiarity with feed management tools (DataFeedWatch, Feedonomics, GoDataFeed, or similar).
  • Expertise in resolving product disapprovals, feed errors, and policy issues.
  • Strong understanding of product taxonomy, GTINs, MPNs, and custom attributes.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and tracking setup.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in multichannel feed management (Facebook Catalog, Microsoft Ads, Pinterest, etc.).
  • Background in DTC ecommerce marketing.
  • Google Ads or Google Shopping certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹700, ₹1,100,000.00 per year
