About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead IT Infrastructure & Networks to oversee and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, networks, and communication systems. The role involves leading IT infrastructure projects, coordinating with vendors, ensuring security and compliance, and maintaining business continuity. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, technical, and project management skills to ensure IT systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Management

  • Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and communication systems.
  • Ensure availability, performance, and reliability of IT infrastructure to support seamless business operations.

Project Management

  • Lead IT infrastructure projects including system upgrades, network expansions, and new technology implementations.
  • Develop project plans, manage execution, and monitor project performance to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.

Vendor Coordination

  • Collaborate with hardware and software vendors for procurement, maintenance, and support.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Security & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain IT security measures to safeguard organizational data and systems.
  • Conduct periodic audits and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

User Support & Training

  • Provide technical support to staff and manage helpdesk operations for timely issue resolution.
  • Train employees on new systems and technologies to improve IT adoption and effectiveness.

Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

  • Develop, test, and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Ensure operational resilience and quick recovery in the event of IT system failures.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and network management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in server administration, networking, and IT infrastructure planning.
  • Strong knowledge of IT security, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructure projects end-to-end.
  • Strong vendor management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with IT monitoring, networking, and project management tools.

Preferred

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, PMP, or CISSP.
  • Experience in plant/manufacturing or large enterprise environments.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
