Floor Manager

Reports To: Chief ExecutiveOfficer
We are currently seekingan experienced and dynamic Floor Manager to oversee operations inour warehouse and factory facilities. The Floor Manager will beresponsible for coordinating and supervising daily activities onthe production floor and warehouse floor to ensure efficientoperations adherence to safety protocols and achievement ofproduction targets. The ideal candidate will have strong leadershipskills excellent communication abilities and a proven track recordof managing teams in a fastpaced manufacturing and
warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan organize and coordinate dailyproduction and warehouse activities to meet
productiontargets quality standards and customer requirements.
2.Supervise and lead a team of production workers warehouse staff andsupervisors
providing guidance coaching and support toensure optimal performance and
productivity.
3. Monitor production processes and workflows identify bottlenecksand inefficiencies
and implement strategies to improveefficiency reduce waste and optimize resource
utilization.
4. Ensure compliance with safetyregulations standard operating procedures (SOPs)
andquality standards in all production and warehouse operations andtake
corrective actions to address safety hazards andquality issues.
5. Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams including operations maintenance quality
assuranceand logistics to coordinate production schedules resolveoperational
issues and implement processimprovements.
6. Conduct regular inspections and auditsof production equipment machinery and
facilities toensure proper maintenance cleanliness and functionality andinitiate
maintenance and repair activities asneeded.
7. Train and onboard new employees and provideongoing training and development
opportunities toenhance skills knowledge and performance of productionand
warehouse staff.
8. Monitorinventory levels stock movements and material flow in the warehouseand
implement inventory control measures to optimizeinventory accuracy minimize
stockouts and reducecarrying costs.
9. Prepare production reportsperformance metrics and KPIs to track production
outputefficiency and quality performance and analyze data to identifytrends
patterns and areas for improvement.
10. Foster a culture of teamwork collaboration and continuousimprovement among
production and warehouse staff andrecognize and reward achievements and
contributions topromote employee engagement and morale.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree inIndustrial Engineering Operations Management SupplyChain
Management or a related field (or equivalent workexperience).
2. Minimum of 57 years of experience inproduction management warehouse
management or operationsmanagement roles preferably in a manufacturing or
warehouse environment.
3. Strong leadership andsupervisory skills with the ability to motivate coachand
develop teams and foster a positive workenvironment.
4. Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to communicate
effectively with employees at all levels of the organization andacross departments.
5. Solid understanding of productionprocesses lean manufacturing principles and
warehouseoperations with the ability to optimize workflows and driveprocess
improvements.
6. Knowledge of safetyregulations quality standards and best practices in
manufacturing and warehousing and experience implementing safetyand quality
management systems.
7. Stronganalytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to analyzedata identify
root causes of operational issues andimplement effective solutions.
8. Proficiency inMicrosoft Office applications (e.g. Excel Word PowerPoint)and
familiarity with production planning and inventorymanagement software.
9. Ability to work effectivelyunder pressure in a fastpaced environment manage
multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines while maintainingattention to detail and
accuracy.
10.Flexibility to work extended hours weekends and holidays as neededto support
production schedules and meet businessdemands.
