Job Title: Manager - Manager Compliance and Sustainability Reporting


Reports to: Head - CSR & Sustainability


Job Description

The Manager of Compliance and Sustainability Reporting, you will play a critical role in ensuring our organization meets regulatory requirements and achieves its sustainability goals at group level as well as BU level. You will lead efforts to monitor environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance, prepare sustainability reports, and drive continuous improvement in our sustainability practices.


Primary Responsibilities:

Compliance Management

Stay informed about relevant environmental, social, and governance regulations, standards, and reporting requirements. Develop and implement systems and processes to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Sustainability Reporting

Lead the preparation and publication of sustainability reports, including annual ESG reports, in accordance with industry frameworks such as GRI, BRSR, SASB, or CDP. Coordinate data collection, analysis, and verification processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of sustainability performance metrics.

Data Management and Analysis

Oversee the collection, management, and analysis of sustainability data from across the organization, including energy consumption, emissions, waste, and social impact metrics. Use data analysis tools and software to identify trends, track progress, and generate insights to support decision-making and goal setting.

Stakeholder Engagement

Engage with internal stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and operational teams, to gather data, solicit input, and communicate sustainability objectives and progress. Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as investors, customers, and industry groups, to respond to inquiries, provide information, and demonstrate commitment to sustainability.

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve sustainability performance, reduce environmental impact, and enhance social responsibility throughout the organization. Develop and implement strategies, initiatives, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in sustainability practices and reporting.

Risk Management

Assess sustainability risks and opportunities, including climate-related risks, supply chain risks, and reputational risks, and develop strategies to mitigate and manage them.  Ensure that sustainability reporting accurately reflects the organization's approach to risk management and resilience.


Educational and Competency Requirements:

Master’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, business administration, or related field. At least 7 years of experience in sustainability reporting, compliance management, or related field, preferably in a corporate setting.

Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, such as GRI, SASB, CDP, and their application in corporate reporting.
