Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Procurement Head located in Kolkata. The Procurement Head will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing supplier relationships, evaluating supplier performance, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that all purchasing activities are conducted efficiently and cost-effectively. The role includes developing procurement strategies, coordinating with different departments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Supplier Management as well as Evaluation for Manganese ore & related Raw materials for Ferro Alloys plant at Abu Dhabi & sales / Export of the finished products of Ferro Alloys plant.
  • Skills in Contract Negotiation and Purchasing
  • Expertise in Procurement processes and strategies
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in the mining industry is a plus
