Job Overview ;
We're looking for an experienced
Application Support Engineer
to support critical Java applications running on Linux/Unix, primarily for financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and troubleshoot Linux-based Java applications
  • Use Linux commands, scripts, and logs to resolve issues
  • Automate tasks using scripting (Shell, Python, etc.)
  • Work with SQL/PLSQL and databases
  • Assist in deployments and migrations
  • Monitor applications using tools like ITRS, Control-M
  • Follow ITIL processes for incident/problem management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document solutions

Requirements:

  • Strong Linux/Unix and Java/C support experience
  • Scripting, SQL/PLSQL, IPC, and RDBMS knowledge
  • Exposure to deployment, monitoring, and automation tools
  • Understanding of software lifecycle and operations
  • Finance/Capital Markets/BFSI experience is a plus
