Job Purpose

This role and person is responsible for managing overall building through BMS and DCIM system by proactive monitoring and maintenance to deliver high uptime and uninterrupted service in line with Tier-3 infrastructure .

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage overall BMS and DCIM system to deliver high uptime and availability Carry out routine and periodic maintenance of the Access control , CCTV ,BMS , fire system and DCIM servers and devices to ensure high uptime Proactive monitoring and rectification on 24x7 basis by escalation to OEM during outages and fault occurrence Manager local vendor and partners providing L1 services for BMS and other security appliances Ensure all Data Centre facility items are connected through network and other protocols and alerts are notified at BMS system Attend and prioritize alerts for escalation and resolution through internal and external support team including OEMs Create periodic dashboard of system availability for management reporting Enroll new access cards and users and retire old access rights based on L&T data Centre security policy Monitoring Access control and CCTV and providing alerts to internal stakeholder e.g security team Add / change / commission new devices during new customer provisioning e.g camera , access card reader , biometric reader & CCTV camera etc. Create and plan backup and contingency measures for overall system data including BMS , CCTV & Access control etc. Keep and track system licenses , anti-virus and other software to ensure high availability periodic update and renewal in compliance to various standards

Educational Qualifications

BE/B-Tech or equivalent with Electronics & Communication / electrical etc

Relevant Experience

About 4-7 Years of relevant experience Experience in handling building management alerts , installation & maintenance Exposure and experience of DCIM system and reporting Knowledge of data center security solution e.g access control , readers , biometric system , CCTV and intrusion detection system etc . Must have knowledge of BMS products available in the market and worked in such large organization on similar role Must have basic knowledge of network and basic understanding of infrastructure e.g UPS , CRAC , PAHU , Chillers , PDUs , DG , TX and other electrical equipment that connect to BMS system Practical experience installing and integrating new facility component e.g access control devices , camera , access cards and other such security appliances with BMS system Communication and presentation skills Knowledge of MS-office , email ( outlook ) Well-versed in creating MIS and dashboard
