Role: Senior Accountant

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting & Bookkeeping
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Handle day-to-day accounting entries, reconciliations, and journal postings.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
  • Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
  • Payroll & Employee Settlements
  • Manage payroll processing, salary calculations, and statutory deductions (PF, ESIC, PT).
  • Handle reimbursements, full & final settlements, and incentive calculations.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements.
  • Track expenses against budgets and suggest cost-saving measures.
  • Banking & Treasury
  • Manage bank reconciliations, payments, and vendor settlements.
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
  • Taxation & Filings
  • File GST returns, TDS returns, advance tax, and income tax.
  • Liaise with consultants and government authorities when required.
  • Other Responsibilities
  • Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
  • Support management with MIS reports and financial analysis.
  • Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and timely completion of all financial matters.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35, ₹40,000.00 per month
