Job Description:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Long-term strategic planning, preparing and managing quarterly and annual operating plans, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Acting as a co-pilot with business teams, taking ownership of outcomes amidst uncertainty.
  • Evaluating and constructing commercial proposals for category margins, leading negotiations.
  • Driving targets with business teams, assisting with gap analysis and improvement plans.
  • Collaborating with operation managers to reduce inefficient costs, optimize for steady-state costing, and set up processes for sustainable optimal cost.
  • Facilitating financial review meetings, working with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management, and providing data-driven recommendations and follow-through with business leaders.
  • Performing financial reporting, ad-hoc business analysis, and financial modeling, managing financial planning and analysis using key business input levers.
  • Automating reporting and demonstrating familiarity with Business Intelligence tools.
  • Driving working capital management, including inventory management and return per square footage, to maximize top-line revenue.

The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and demonstrate the ability to effectively manage the finances of a high-growth business.

Desired Skills:

  • 7-10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Master’s in Business – Finance/Strategy or CA preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Self-starter who can take ownership of deliverables with minimal direction and develop new approaches to business problems.
  • Continuous improvement attitude and fast learning ability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
