Role Summary:

Seeking an experienced IT Asset Management professional with
80% focus on Software Asset Management (SAM)
and
20% on Hardware Asset Management
to manage and optimize asset lifecycles.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle software requests, SAM enquiries, and mailboxes.
  • Maintain accurate software asset inventory via SAM tools (USU/Aspera, ServiceNow, Power BI).
  • Manage license portals (Adobe, Articulate, Docker), quarterly license re-harvesting, and compliance checks.
  • Track software usage vs. entitlements, identify cost-saving optimization opportunities.
  • Manage hardware inventory reporting, audits, and governance reports.
  • Partner with deskside teams for deployments/issues; enhance operational efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in IT/CS or related field.
  • 5–6 years' ITAM/SAM experience with strong knowledge of licensing models (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle).
  • Proficiency in SAM tools & ITSM (ServiceNow); strong analytical & communication skills.
  • ITIL or SAM certifications (CSAM, CAMP) preferred.
