Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team at Vizlogic Digital Solutions Private Limited. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining interactive visualizations and reports for our clients. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of experience in Power BI development and a solid understanding of ETL processes, SQL Server, MS Excel, databases, and the retail domain. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.


Qualifications and Skills


  • 5 to 7 years of experience in Power BI development
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
  • Proficiency in SQL Server and data querying languages (e.g., T-SQL)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and its advanced features
  • Experience working with databases and data modeling
  • Familiarity with the retail domain and its data analysis requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain interactive visualizations and reports using Power BI
  • Design, develop, and implement data models, data visualizations, and dashboards
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing quality checks
  • Optimize and tune performance of Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and data sources
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for reporting purposes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI and data visualization techniques
