We handle strategy, scripting, video editing, branding, graphic design, metadata, and posting for our clients. As a result, all of our clients have top-ranked channel in their respective niches. Currently, we are looking to hire an ADVANCED, full-time scriptwriter to write "talking head" education content about health-related topics for one of our clients, who is a doctor.Please only apply for this position if you:Are a fluent English speakerHave written at least 50 You Tube “talking head” education scriptsUnderstand advanced You Tube scripting strategyAre available full-time (at least 40 hours per week)Are willing to work on weekends if necessaryAre available to start right awayPlease do NOT apply for this position if you are an “edutainment” scriptwriter—that is a fundamentally different style of writing than what we are looking for.About the role:Script quality is perhaps the most valuable thing we deliver for our clients, so we're looking for a You Tube scriptwriter with the experience to match our standards and results. We will train you to write scripts the way we do, but we expect you to have a solid foundation of experience and skill to minimize the learning curve.Below is everything you need to know about the job:This is the equivalent of a full-time, remote position that will involve 3 long-form scripts per week.It is a contractor position (NOT an employee) which means we don’t offer things like paid leave or healthcare.There are no set hours, meaning you’re free to work whenever best suits you. As long as you complete your work on time without compromising quality, we don’t care if it takes you 5 days or 5 hours.Each script typically ranges between 1,500 - 3,500 words.We will pick the topics for you, it will be your job to do the research and write the scripts.Each script needs to be fact checked, we will not accept AI slop with misleading statements.You will be expected to follow You Tube best practices to structure your scripts in a way that maximizes viewer retention.You will be expected to make unlimited revisions if necessary. If a script simply isn’t good, we’re not going to accept it.The final version of each script should be the absolute best script for that topic on You Tube (we have high standards for quality).Compensation:We are offering baseline starting pay of $3,500-$5,000 USD per month (depending on your level of experience) for around 12 long-form scripts (3 per week). Once you demonstrate that you can complete each script without a lot of feedback, we will increase your base pay by $500 USD per month. The position also comes with the potential to earn a performance bonus up to $10,000/mo on top of your baseline salary, depending on how well your work helps us achieve our business goals that month.We will also pay for you to have access to Perplexity Pro ($20/mo) and Chat GPT Pro ($200/mo) for research and writing.Note that we expect you to use AI to help write your scripts. If you’re fundamentally opposed to AI then this position isn’t for you.
