Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Facilities Manager. The role is based in Pondicherry. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing vendor relationships, and organizing facility-related projects. Daily tasks include inspecting facilities, scheduling repairs and maintenance, handling emergency situations efficiently, and managing a team of maintenance staff.

Qualifications

  • Excellent facility management skills including knowledge of maintenance procedures and equipment
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements
  • Vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in handling emergency situations effectively
  • Previous experience in facility management, preferably in a similar industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field
