THIS JOB IS FOR LUDHIANA, THIS JOB IS FOR LUDHIANA, PUNJAB.  Job Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Wedding Decor Designer & Stylist located in LUDHIANA. Myra Events is seeking a highly creative, passionate, and detail-oriented Wedding Decor Designer & Stylist to transform our clients' visions into breathtaking, personalized wedding experiences. This role is central to our commitment to exclusivity and unique concept weddings, specializing in creating cohesive, aesthetic, and memorable designs for all ceremonies. Key Responsibilities I. Conceptualization & Design • Creative Consultation: Lead client consultations to understand their unique story, style, budget, and vision, translating abstract ideas into tangible design concepts. • Theme Development: Conceptualize and develop complete design narratives, themes, and aesthetic blueprints for entire weddings and individual ceremonies (e.g., Sangeet, Mehendi, Haldi, Wedding, Reception). • Visual Presentations: Create professional Mood Boards, design decks, 3D renderings, and sketches to present decor and styling proposals, including color palettes, fabrics, furniture, florals, and lighting concepts. • Staying Ahead of Trends: Continuously research and incorporate the latest national and international wedding décor, styling, and color trends while maintaining a focus on regional aesthetics popular in Ludhiana and Punjab. II. Styling & Execution • Décor Management: Oversee the sourcing, procurement, and inventory management of all décor elements, including linens, centerpieces, props, unique installations, and furniture rentals. • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate closely with decorators, florists, lighting technicians, set designers, and rental companies to ensure all elements are executed to the highest quality and align perfectly with the approved design. • On-Site Styling: Be present during setup and execution to oversee the entire decor installation, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and making on-the-spot styling decisions to guarantee a flawless aesthetic presentation. • Mandap & Stage Design: Design and oversee the construction and decoration of key focal points, such as the Mandap, reception stage, and photo booths. III. Logistics & Budget • Budget Alignment: Create detailed décor budgets for clients, ensuring the design vision is achieved while adhering strictly to financial constraints and managing costs effectively. • Timeline Management: Develop and manage a detailed décor timeline, coordinating with the broader event planning team to ensure timely and efficient setup and teardown. • Quality Control: Conduct final checks on all design elements to ensure safety, quality, and perfection before guests arrive. Qualifications & Skills • Experience: Proven experience (3 years preferred) as a Wedding Designer, Décor Stylist, or a similar creative role in the event management or hospitality industry, preferably in a high-volume, quality-focused environment. • Software Proficiency: Expertise in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp) for creating professional presentations and renderings. • Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of diverse Indian wedding ceremonies, traditions, and the latest trends in Punjabi wedding décor. • Creative & Aesthetic Skills: Exceptional eye for color, composition, and detail; a natural flair for design and styling. • Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and the internal team. • Personal Attributes: Highly organized, proactive, solution-oriented, calm under pressure, and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment with irregular hours.
