Role & responsibilities

1. Patient Registration & Admission Process

    1. Ensure timely and accurate patient registration.
    1. Supervise admission formalities and documentation.
    1. Minimize patient wait time during registration.
    1. Ensure all google sheets related to CGHS/BTC admission / discharge are maintained timely

2. Patient Experience & Service Quality

    1. Provide high-quality service to patients and visitors.
    1. Handle patient feedback, queries, and grievances effectively.
    1. Train front desk staff in patient communication and service etiquette.
    1. Google reviews and Patient Testimonials

3. Front Desk Operations Management

    1. Oversee reception staff scheduling and performance.
    1. Ensure round-the-clock coverage and efficiency at the front desk.
    1. Maintain cleanliness, order, and professionalism in the front area.
    1. Organizing evening meeting everyday with other departments.
    1. Submission of all reports on time.
    1. Pharmacy Management.
    1. Adherence to all Office Memorandums of Front Office

4. Billing & Cash Handling Supervision

    1. Oversee OPD/IPD billing procedures and coordination with accounts.
    1. Ensure proper collection and accounting of payments at the desk.
    1. Audit billing practices for compliance and accuracy.

5. Coordination with Internal Departments

    1. Ensure seamless communication with medical, nursing, diagnostics, and support departments.
    1. Facilitate timely patient movement and service delivery.

6. Compliance & Documentation

    1. Ensure adherence to hospital policies, statutory norms, and accreditation standards (NABH, CGHS).
    1. Maintain up-to-date patient records and front office documentation.
    1. CGHS / AirIndia / Cashless Insurance / Other Cashless intimations on time
    1. Insurance intimation and reimbursement process

7. Team Management & Development

    1. Train, and evaluate front office staff.
    1. Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.

8. Technology & System Use

    1. Ensure effective use of Hospital Information System (Dhanvantari) at the front desk.
    1. Identify and troubleshoot issues related to system use.
    1. Timing update of all reports

9. Revenue Focus

    1. Maximizing Room / bed Revenue
    1. Upselling and Cross-selling
    1. Patient Retention and Repeat Business
    1. Minimizing Revenue Leakages
    1. Front Desk Efficiency Impacting Revenue
