About the Partner Onboarding Manager role


Tazapay is hiring for a full-time partner onboarding manager who has rich operations experience in Fintech or any Financial Institution, preferably in partner onboarding, account provisioning, client due diligence or banking operations. We are looking for individuals who have a keen eye for detail and are able to work in a fast-paced environment


Responsibilities (not exhaustive)

As Tazapay continues to build out its global footprint, Tazapay is onboarding with multiple Financial Institutions (Banks, Fintechs, Payment Service Providers) at scale as it looks to build out the widest local collections network in the world. We are looking for an individual to lead the E2E onboarding process with the partners which includes:  

  • Work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to facilitate partner relationships and work on new partner onboarding

  • Understanding and completing all necessary KYC documents required to onboard with the partner (e.g., sharing details of our entity structure, UBOs, Directors, etc)

  • Completing enhanced due diligence forms and sharing required details on Tazapay’s KYC / AML policies in consultation with Head of Partnerships / Head of Compliance / Head of Operations

  • Creation of Tazapay’s accounts across partner’s platforms, and validation and endorsement of account-related requests (e.g., additional user credentials, management of system access, etc)

  • Updating of all relevant trackers for reporting purposes

  • Ensuring forms are signed by appropriate Directors/Authorised signatories as required.

  • Documenting the communications of artefacts with partners

  • Maintain and complete annual reviews as required by partners on ongoing basis

  • Payment testing with product and tech team for each new partner onboarding

 

The Ideal Candidate

 

Education

  • Graduation or Masters degree


Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in following industry shall be considered-

    • Banking- transaction banking, financial markets, trade settlement/finance 

    • Fund management- mutual funds, online trading

    • Fintech- payment, lending, consumer finance and credit card

  • Prior experience in customer/partner onboarding, account provisioning, transaction reconciliation, document verification, dispute resolution

  • Domain knowledge of trade finance, global trade

  • Ability to provide exceptional attention to details of the product.

  • Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions

  • Work well as a team player and help the team members to resolve issues

  • Be committed to quality and be structured in approach

  • Excellent and demonstrable concept formulation, logical and analytical skills

  • Excellent planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills
