Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and creative SEO Specialist to join our marketing team. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for optimizing our website and content to improve our search engine rankings, increase organic traffic, and support overall digital marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct keyword research to guide content teams.
  • Perform ongoing SEO audits and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts for search engines.
  • Manage and optimize on-page elements such as meta titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, and image optimization.
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics, rankings, and performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs.
  • Monitor and report on SEO performance and KPIs (organic traffic, keyword rankings, etc.).
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
    Collaborate with content creators, developers, and marketing team members to execute SEO strategies.
  • Identify and implement link-building opportunities.
  • Ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented across newly developed code.
  • Support local SEO and international SEO strategies, if applicable.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, Digital Marketing Specialist, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz).
  • Experience with website analytics tools and keyword research tools.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Google Analytics and/or Google Ads certification.
  • Experience with technical SEO and website migrations.
  • Knowledge of schema markup and structured data.
  • Background in content marketing or copywriting.

Certifications:

  • Google Analytics / GA4 Certification
  • Google Tag Manager Certification
  • HubSpot SEO Certification
  • SEMrush or Ahrefs Academy Certificates
  • Advanced SEO Training (e.g., Yoast, Coursera, or Moz)
