The organization is committed to playing a larger role in India’s sustainable development by embedding wider economic, social, and environmental objectives through its programmes and underscored by a vision to create an enlightened and equitable society.


Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract


Duration of Contract: The duration of the contract will be subject to the availability of funds from the partner organization.


Reporting Relationship:


Social Expert - Community Development----->Manager - Community Development (Functionally) and Head Noamundi Impact Cluster (Administratively)


Purpose of the Role:


Manage community development initiatives through the implementation and monitoring of programmes & projects targeting all sections of society.


Key Deliverables:


  • Development of microenterprise for the socio-economic development of the marginalized communities.
  • Identify required training and exposure to be imparted; facilitate the beneficiaries to implement the learnings and get employed.
  • Develop & nurture trainees, entrepreneurs, group-based as well as individuals, and facilitate them for forward-backward linkage. Focus on Women’s SHGs that are already functional in the operational area.
  • Stakeholder Management, build and maintain strong relationships with local community leaders, government officials, and other stakeholders.
  • Overall coordination and timely execution of project activities.
  • Capacity building of project staffs and regular field visits and interaction with community leaders.
  • Prepare regular reports on community development initiatives, including progress, impact, and challenges.
  • Coordinate with Govt. departments & institutions for resource mobilization.
  • Formation and functioning of village development groups.
  • Ensuring community participation in project implementation.
  • Implement initiatives to improve educational infrastructure and resources in the community.


Minimum Qualification: Graduation (Social Work/ Rural Development or equivalent)


Work experience in years: 0-3 years


Technical Skill Sets

  • Project Planning, Management, Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Digital ability is a must; Adept in computer literacy, dexterous with MS-Office
  • Good documentation, reporting skills in relation to community development related project proposals
  • Strong communication (English, Hindi) and interpersonal skills are also essential, as you will be working closely with marginalized community and other stakeholders
