The Wedding Company has raised a seed round from prominent investors like Arash Ferdowsi, Dropbox cofounder and Chaitanya Ramalingegowda, Wakefit cofounder.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage end-to-end planning, design, and execution of luxury weddings and high-scale events.Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, style, and preferences to curate personalized experiences.Supervise and guide the planning team, interns, and on-ground coordinators throughout the project lifecycle.Develop detailed event timelines, budgets, and checklists ensuring seamless coordination across departments.Manage vendor relationships — including décor, hospitality, F&B, production, entertainment, and logistics.Conduct regular site visits, client meetings, and coordination sessions with internal and external stakeholders.Ensure flawless execution during events, managing real-time problem-solving and guest experience.Oversee documentation, reports, and post-event debriefs to evaluate project performance.Maintain brand standards, client confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.Key RequirementsMinimum 8 years of experience in wedding planning or luxury event management.Proven track record of handling premium destinations and large-scale weddings.Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Excellent aesthetic sense and attention to detail.Willingness to travel across India and internationally for projects.EducationBachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Luxury Brand Management, or related field preferred.Note : We are an equal opportunity employer.
