  1. To prepare and monitor weekly/fortnightly manufacturing schedules as per the sales forecast in coordination with Production/Section Head and ensure that the same is followed without deviations from the scheduled plan.
  2. To execute the manufacturing plan in accordance with GMP.
  3. To work out the requirement of manpower in coordination with Section Head/Production Head.
  4. Ensure to have 0% market complaints due to production error. Zero percent batch rework/reprocessing due to manpower/machine/process error during batch manufacturing.
  5. Ensure 0% line stoppages/productivity loss due to unavailability of manpower/material.
  6. To work out the requirement of raw and packing material as per the production plan and coordinate with purchase to make the material available for manufacturing on time.
  7. Ensure to maintain inventory data along with their expiry dates to avoid any material shortages.
  8. Coordinate with R&D and validation team to complete the studies as per the scheduled timeline without any deviation/incident.
  9. Communicate with vendors with respect to material quality.
  10. To suggest and implement new ideas/processes for continuous improvements of processes which will increase the overall quality of the product/decrease product cycle time/improve compliance at the shop floor.
  11. To implement and maintain GMP at the shop floor.
  12. Ensure to have zero line clearance failure/line stoppages due to non-compliance.
  13. Daily monitoring of OEE/line efficiency data. Identify the factors contributing to low efficiency and work on the same to reduce it, which will contribute to an overall increase in OEE/line efficiency.
  14. Operate the manufacturing area/machines with minimum manpower without affecting the delivery schedule.
  15. To ensure that equipment operation and processes are carried out with a high-efficiency rate.
  16. To monitor and review production downtime and take immediate corrective measures to eliminate the downtime in coordination with CFT.
  17. To ensure that the product is consistently produced as per defined quality specifications throughout the manufacturing process.
  18. To monitor/perform rejection trend analysis of raw/packing/SFG material.
