Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.POSITION SUMMARYThe Data and Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in building and maintaining EduFinance’s data infrastructure while delivering insightful analysis through Power BI and Excel. The role is a hybrid between data engineering and analytics, requiring strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and data pipelines, as well as the ability to translate data into actionable insights.RESPONSIBILITIES  include the following. Other duties may be assigned.DataSupervise management and maintenance of  data collection  tools that are used by all EduFinance departments (EFP, Education Quality, MERL)E.g., Fulcrum, Google Forms, Titus, SalesforceDesign, build and maintain  robust ETL pipelines  (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, APIs).Administration  and  optimization  of the EduFinance SQL database on Microsoft AzureEnsure  high-quality , clean, and well-documented data pipelines and dataflowsImplement and maintain data quality controls.Manage special data projects as EduFinance expands into new areasBusiness Intelligence & AnalyticsDevelop and maintain  interactive PBI   dashboards and automated reporting  tools for EFP, Education Quality, MERLConduct in-depth analysis  using SQL, Power BI, Python, and Excel to provide actionable insights to support decision-makingUse Excel (including Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas, and macros where applicable) for  ad hoc analysesPresent findings  and insights to internal teams, financial institution partners, and other stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.Ensure dashboards and data collection tools are accurately reflecting the status of the programSpecial projects that require data analysis for the purposes of making stronger business decisions.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYNoneQUALIFICATIONSUndergraduate degree in data science, computer engineering, statistics, or another quantitative field requiredMinimum 3 years’ experience in  SQL  development and database administration experience (Azure SQL preferred).Minimum 3 years’ experience building and maintaining  ETL  pipelines (Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, or similar tools).Proficiency with APIs and data integration methods.Advanced  Excel  skills (Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas, macros a plus).Expertise in  Power BI  (DAX, data modeling, dashboard/report design).Proficiency in  Python  for data transformation, automation, and analysis.Passionate about Opportunity’s mission.
