  • Developingand implementing innovative strategies to streamlineoperations.
  • Effectivelyand efficiently manage the production of the requireddaily/weekly/monthly targets in line with customer specificationsmeeting quality and delivery expectations minimizing costs wherepossible and ensure the required best working practices aremaintained at alltimes.
  • Responsiblefor plant production financial performance meeting customerrequirements and maintaining the orderly and productive operationof plannedactivities.
  • Ensure the targetproductivity level is achieved on a dailybasis.
  • Updatethe production plan on a dailybasis.
  • Communicate and liaise withother departmental managers regarding throughput of stock to ensureproduction targets aremet.
  • Drive process improvementson Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by appropriate dataanalysis.
  • Attend various meetings andaction/communicateinstructions.
  • Producewritten reports and makepresentations.
  • Undertake continuoustraining anddevelopment.
  • Perform root cause analysisand resolveproblems.
  • Identify and deploy thetechnical skill sets resource levels and systems to deliverprojects including the engagement of external resources asrequired.
  • Conduct risk assessments ofprocesses and tasks in thedepartment.
  • Ensure that the functionoperates in accordance with any health safety and environmentalpolicies and procedures to ensure thesafety.
  • Regularlyinspecting finished products to determine whether they meetestablished qualitystandards.
  • Collaboratingwith quality control managers to establish and execute qualitycontrolprocesses.
  • Schedulesmaintenance and repair of machines used in production process toavoid downtime or delays. Ensuring that machinery is in goodworkingorder.
  • Analyzingproduction data to identify and resolve any productionissues.
  • Preparingproduction reports and submitting them tomanagement.

Report Daily to Senior Management on Floor Status Maintain KPI sfor managementreview.

Motivating workers to continually achievetargets.

  • Screeningrecruiting and training newemployees.
