Product Development Engineer

We are looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Product Development Engineer to join our engineering team. This role involves the design, development, prototyping, and testing of new products from concept through to production. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, creativity, and a passion for bringing ideas to life through engineering and design processes.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, marketing, and supply chain to ensure the successful launch and lifecycle management of high-quality, cost-effective products.
- Design and develop new products or improve existing ones based on market needs, customer feedback, and internal objectives.
- Create and test prototypes to evaluate functionality, performance, safety, and reliability. Iterate designs based on test results.
- Work with industrial designers, manufacturing engineers, and supply chain teams to ensure product feasibility and manufacturability.
- Manage product development timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring projects meet all technical and business milestones.
- Generate engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), specifications, and technical reports to support production and quality processes.
- Research and select appropriate materials and components to meet performance, cost, and sustainability goals.
- Support transition from design to manufacturing, including DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) activities.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal quality control processes.
