We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team. The Merchandiser will play a critical role in selecting, organizing, and presenting products from various niche and boutique brands. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for trends, a deep understanding of the niche market, and a passion for discovering new and emerging brands. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills, strong vendor relationships, and a flair for creating compelling product assortments that resonate with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Selection & Curation :

- Identify and source niche and boutique brands that align with the store's vision and customer base.

- Conduct market research to stay ahead of trends and discover emerging brands and products.

- Collaborate with vendors and brand partners to curate a diverse and compelling product assortment.

Product Presentation & Promotion :

- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns that highlight key products and brands.

- Ensure that product listings are accurately described, priced, and visually appealing on the online store.

- Collaborate with the content and design teams to create engaging and on-brand product imagery and descriptions.

Vendor Relations :

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential vendors.

- Negotiate terms, pricing, and exclusivity agreements to secure the best possible products for the store.

- Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, ensuring clear communication and smooth collaboration.

Performance Analysis & Reporting :

- Track and analyze product performance, sales trends, and customer feedback to inform future buying decisions.

- Prepare regular reports on sales, inventory levels, and vendor performance.

- Use data-driven insights to recommend adjustments to the product mix and merchandising strategies.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.

- 2 - 3 years of experience in merchandising, preferably with a focus on niche or boutique brands.

- Strong understanding of the online retail landscape and e-commerce trends.

- Excellent analytical skills and experience with inventory management systems.

- Proven ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.

- Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and aesthetics.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
