 Analyst/Sr Analyst, Climate and Sustainability Initiative

Location:
 New Delhi

Reporting to:
 Director

enthusiastic and detail-oriented Analyst
 to contribute to our growing impact.

Your Role & Responsibilities

As an 
Analyst/Sr Analyst
 at CSI, you will be pivotal in driving research, financial assessments, and policy-oriented insights. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Research & Analysis

  2. Conduct in-depth 
    quantitative and qualitative research
     on sustainability, finance, and policy trends.

  3. Develop 
    financial models
     and evaluate value-added potential across various sectors.
  4. Analyse business, financial, and regulatory trends, translating data-driven insights into policy recommendations.

  5. Engage with industry experts and organisations (both public and private) to assess sectoral trends and challenges.

  6. Thought Leadership & Content Development

  7. Craft high-quality 
    research reports, policy briefs, presentations, and thought pieces
    .

  8. Ensure rigorous analytical standards in all outputs to support decision-making for governments, investors, and industries.

  9. Stakeholder Engagement & Program Support

  10. Build 
    strong relationships with industry stakeholders
     to facilitate access to data and insights.

  11. Assist in the implementation of 
    CSI's projects, events, and communication strategies
    .
  12. Support knowledge-sharing activities, including collaborative meetings and training workshops.
  13. Enhance CSI's outreach using 
    new media platforms
    , ensuring wider dissemination of our work.

What We're Looking For

Education:

  • A 
    Master's degree
     in Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields.
  • Additional qualifications
     (CA/CFA) or degrees in Engineering, Sustainability, or Energy are a plus.

Professional Experience:

  • 2-5 years
     of experience in 
    corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or financial institutions
    .
  • Prior exposure to 
    clean energy and sustainability
     is highly desirable.
  • Experience in 
    stakeholder management
     would be an advantage.
