As a QA engineer, you will need to have a strong knowledge of testing practices and an ability to employ traditional practices in the conversational domain. You will be working in a fast-paced agile environment with a talented team of Developers and PMs. You will assess the testing and quality of all new features and releases delivered by our team. You have good communication skills, pay a great deal of attention to detail and are passionate about what you do. What responsibilities will you have?  Design, build, and maintain automation test suites (API, UI, integration, regression)Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test strategies for new features across web, voice, and GenAI-based workflowsImplement automated CI pipelines for test execution and reportingIdentify QA bottlenecks in release cycles and propose solutions to reduce manual overheadEnsure coverage for critical use cases, including LLM-agent workflows and voice bot interactionsMonitor production issues and contribute to post-release test automation to prevent regressionsWhat skills, expertise and experience are we looking for? 3–6 years of experience in test automation for scalable SaaS or platform productsProficiency with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or CypressStrong knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or KarateExperience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)Familiarity with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or any scripting language used for test developmentGood understanding of backend systems (REST APIs, microservices architecture)Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with frequent releasesExposure to testing LLM-based features, chatbots, or voice assistants is a huge plusTell me more about Haptik On a roll: Announced major strategic partnership in April 2019 with Jio in a $100 million deal.Great team: You will be working with great leaders who have been listed in Business World 40 Under 40, Forbes 30 Under 30 and MIT 35 Under 35 Innovators.Great culture: The freedom to think and innovate is something that defines the culture of Haptik.
