About the opportunity: Job Title: Network Support Engineer (Remote) Overview: We are seeking a mid-level Network Support Engineer to join our global operations team. This remote contractor role will focus on supporting and maintaining a mixed Cisco and Meraki environment, ensuring network stability and compliance with PCI standards. Responsibilities: Provide operational support for network infrastructure, including firewalling, routing, and switching. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents in a timely manner. Assist in maintaining PCI compliance across network systems. Perform configuration changes and maintenance tasks during off-hours or scheduled maintenance windows. Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately one week per month). Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless 24/7 coverage. Qualifications: Proven experience with Cisco and/or Meraki network equipment. Solid understanding of network fundamentals (firewalls, routing, switching ). Familiarity with PCI compliance requirements. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Availability for night shifts or on-call duties as required.
