SCIENTE is a trusted business technology partner in intelligent transformation and technology talent management.We are looking for an energetic and passionate Practice Lead – AWS + Open-source Stack to build and grow our AWS practice from the ground up. This is a "hands-on leadership role" suited for someone who thrives in an "entrepreneurial environment", enjoys creating structure from scratch, and is eager to drive cloud adoption and innovation for clients. In summary, ambitious to be the CEO of a practice.Key Responsibilities- Establish and grow the AWS practice, including defining differentiated service offerings, delivery frameworks, go-to-market strategy and quality services delivery to clients.- Lead cloud engineering initiatives, pre-sales technical/marketing support, solution design, and implementation using AWS services.- Build a small, high-performing team of AWS professionals over time and mentor them for excellence.- Collaborate with sales and business leaders to identify opportunities, support pre-sales, and contribute to proposal development.- Ensure the post-sales services delivery is within timelines, budget and as per promises made to clients.- Enhance the brand equity of Practice through internal and external communication channels e.g. LinkedIn.- Stay current with AWS technologies, tools, and certifications to ensure the practice remains at the forefront of innovation.Requirements- Around 10 years of experience in IT, with strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud engineering, architecture, migration and Open Innovation.- Proven ability to design, implement, and manage deliveries of AWS-based solutions across AWS infrastructure, DevOps and Open-source Stack.- Experience supporting sales/marketing and in delivering solutions to external clients.- Experience in building or scaling a cloud practice or related competency is highly desirable.- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) preferred.- Strong communication, leadership, and entrepreneurial mindset.Why Join Us- This is a unique opportunity to build something from scratch - shaping a new AWS + Open Innovation practice, influencing its direction, and driving meaningful impact in a growing technology consulting organization.Should you be interested in this career opportunity, please send in your resume, in confidence, to know more about us, please visit Only shortlisted candidates shall be notified.When you apply, you voluntarily consent to the disclosure, collection and use of your personal data for employment/recruitment and related purposes in accordance with the SCIENTE Group Privacy Policy, a copy of which is published at SCIENTE's website (
