Position: Team Leader - Accounts Payables

Location: Mohali, Punjab (India)

Position type: Full-Time


Job Description


We seek a detail-oriented and experienced Team Leader in Accounts Payables. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Accounts Payables and related fields in the same.


Education:


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


Experience:


• Minimum 6 years of experience in accounts payable, with 2+ years in a leadership role.

• Proven experience in managing and supervising a team of accounts payable professionals.


Skills:


Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor relations.

• Experience with SAP FICO (Accounts Payable and Finance module) is a MUST.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Experience with ERP systems.


Soft Skills:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

• Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and work independently


Additional Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the maintenance of accurate and complete accounts payable records.

• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations.

• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.

• Resolving vendor discrepancies and managing vendor relationships.
