Workday Accounting Center Analyst

Role : Accounting Center Analyst (Workday Certification is mandatory)
Job Description :
Reporting to Report Manager, the Accounting Center Analyst is responsible for, but not limited to the following :
- Lead workshops for client education
- Serve as the escalation point for critical functional issue resolution
- Provide subject matter expertise to aid in decision making related to the functional solution
- Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements.
- Architect Workday Financials solution to ensure that all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated
- Advise clients on industry standards and leading practices.
- Demonstrate design options through the use of prototyping.
- Understand and apply Workday and Deloitte methodologies.
- Provide the Project Manager with status updates and keep them apprised of overall project status.
- Demonstrate strong client and stakeholder management to achieve project objectives
- Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday best practices.
- Support innovation through the creation of new industry leading methods and asset
Qualification :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business, or relevant work experience
- Existing and up to date Workday Financials or Accounting Center Certification
- 1+ years of hands-on Workday Financials experience, having led at least 2 end-to-end Implementations
- In-depth knowledge of US and/or Global Financials Operations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience
- Understanding or strong desire to learn Workday Finance
- Workday Security knowledge
- Possess strong willingness to learn and jump in feet first
- Demonstrates a solid and comprehensive knowledge of Reporting practices
- Microsoft Office Proficient
Skills :
- Strong relationship building skills to effectively work with numerous internal stakeholders
- Project management and process development experience
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to understand requirements and mitigate risks
- Self-starter with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent change
- Excellent attention to detail and strong troubleshooting and analysis skills
- Process-oriented and data-oriented problem solver
