Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Act as technical expert on datacenter networking and security technologies
Good experience in troubleshooting firewall related technologies. Must quickly solve problems, by liaising with affected stakeholders, identifying the problem, devising a solution, and implementing the fix.
Minimizing IT outages by constant upkeep of the network infrastructure. Responsible for hardware upgrades, IOS upgrades, patch upgrades and other maintenance tasks.
Understanding of application flows, Cloud connectivity, packet capture packet tracing etc.
Customer focused, Lead implementation meetings, coordinate with other internal team to resolve issues quickly and build strong working relationships.
Diligently follow change management process, Problem management process and participate in Change Control Board meetings to seek approvals.
Accurate documentation of the work, prioritizing requests and tasks, stay organized to keep on top of all tasks.
Researches, recommends, and implements changes to enhance systems security.
Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex networking and security problems.
Deploy and support multi-vendor network security solutions.
Deploy and support network and security monitoring management tools.
Prepare/update HLD LLD, process and technical documentation.
Should have understanding on SIEM, Compliance and vulnerability management tools.
Support on priority 1 incidents to resolve within SLA.
Perform RCA based on OEM inputs.
Provide improvement opportunities and recommendations on network and security.
Perform tool evaluation and produce recommendations.
Work with other teams, OEMs, vendors, partners, and service providers
Provide training to operations team (L1/L2)
Learn and keep up to date with the latest technology products.
Requirements:
8 plus years of related experience in routing-switching wireless, datacenter networking and security.
Implementation and operational experience with enterprise class routers, switches, and firewalls
Experience with load balancers, internet gateways, IPS/IDS etc.
Experience in network security technologies like ACLs, VPN, L2VPN, L3VPN, IPSEC, GRE etc.
Experience in datacenter networking like BGP-Lite, VLAN, etc.
Experience of working with Visualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V etc.) and virtual network
Experience of datacenter consolidation, transformation, and migration projects
Knowledge and experience on cloud computing infrastructure and orchestration
Knowledge of Software Defined Networks and Network Function Virtualization technologies.
Certification-CCIE RS/DC/WIRELESS, CISCO/ARUBA/MERAKI
